The Pop-A-Lock logo and our Smart Car

Some have asked us why we purchased a Smart Car as a company vehicle. While it is no doubt small, it does have a trunk large enough to at least hold our lockout tools. You may occasionally see our Smart Car driving around Midland and Odessa helping customers locked out of their cars.

Over two years ago we learned the Smart Car was coming to America and we were interested in the novelty of the idea of having a small economical car fully wrapped with Pop-A-Lock advertising. We knew the car alone would draw attention and the added value of attractive advertising would make it stand out even more.

The other reason we were interested in the Smart Car is the striking similarity to the car in Pop-A-Lock’s official logo. Just look at the Smart Car from the front with both doors open (as pictured here). We feel the Pop-A-Lock founders back in 1991 designed a logo that resembles what later became the Smart Car. What do you think?
